***DIE-CAST*** does anyone here collect'em?

relatively recently, i've begun picking up more and more die-cast cars, namely jada toys die cast----soze i was curious if'n any of yooz collected as well

I am interested in seeing really high end die cast items. Where would I look for such a thing?

in my opinion fig, jada toys makes great die cast cars, however many of'em come dropped with officially licensed rims and whatnot, but still highly detailed

my buddy collects hot wheels stuff and while i keep an eye out for him, i could never appreciate die-cast 'til i saw jada's stuff---i just got rid of most of my 1:24 & 1:18 scale import racers and have narrowed down my "need" to 1:64

also, johnny lightning and hot wheels do make "high end" stuff, just not anything that grabs me like jada does

and all this is assuming you meant die-cast cars forums

I used to be a huge collector of die cast cars.
It started with Classics , then NASCAR. (I used to work for RCCA-Action Performance) Most are now packed away in favor of figure collecting.
I eventually plan to catalogue and sell the greater part of my collection, saving only some very favorite classics and a few favorite NASCAR
and NHRA driver's cars. I mostly collected the
1/24 and 1/64 scale. My classics are 1/18 scale,
and those take up serious space!! It was fun, but ironically, it was while I worked at Action that
a friend of mine brought in some McFarlane MM1 figures. Then after seing the original Series 13
'Curse of the Spawn' I bought it. Then S14 came out and when I picked up a Mandarin Spawn for $7.99 at TRU it was all over forums

I went from buying expensive die-cast to buying McFarlane figures. I've been a figure junkie since. forums

hell, before toys, all i collected was stamps forums

and pooh, let me know when you 've got yer nascar stuff catalogued---my friend gus is a HUGE nascar fan and i believe he'd pay top dollar for select items

Yup - I collect Muscle Machines (1:64 and 1:18 scale), Import Tuners (by Muscle Machines), and Jada/Dub City 1:24 ones.

the 1:24 dub city are hot!---had to dump a few recently---the ones i have left are my impalas---have you seen a 1:24 '67 impala around your way?
